Note: CERN Hostel rooms should be reserved using the workshop booking form, and should not be booked direct with the hostel.
Please be aware that the number of rooms available in the CERN Hostel is limited.

There are two CERN Hostel buildings:

Building 38 is a non-smoking hostel, apart from a certain number of specific bedrooms, reading and television rooms, where smoking is allowed. Free  wireless network access is available.

Building 39 is a non-smoking hostel, apart from specific reading and television rooms, where smoking is allowed. Free  wireless network access is available.

Prices are about 58 CHF for a single and 77 CHF for a double room per night.

You should pay for your hostel room When arriving at CERN, at the reception desk by cash or credit card on arrival or before departure.

The reception desk is open:

• Monday to Friday: 7:30 am– 7:30 pm.
• Saturday and Sunday: 09:00 am – 1:00 pm.

The CERN hostel reception opening hours are Mon-Fri 7:30 am to 7:30 pm and 09:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday and Sunday. During these hours you can obtain your key from the hostel reception in Hostel building 39. Ask at the CERN reception, when you arrive, for a map if you are not sure how to find the hostels.

If you are arriving at CERN outside the opening hours of the CERN Hostel reception, you will need to go directly to the CERN Main Entrance (Entrance B) and ask the guard. The keys are held in a building just to the right inside Entrance B.
